Marcio Goldzweig - Profile

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Guanabara, living since 1981 in São Paulo. From 1972 to 1975 frequented Ivan Serpa's atelier where he made everything like, sculpture, engraving, painting, woodcuting and drawing. Initiated his professional career as an illustrator in 1974, exactly before entering for the School of Fine Arts of the UFRJ in 1977, where he studied Industrial Design and Visual Communication. He soon opted to the advertising art, specializing itself in air brush painting and food hiper-realistic illustration for packings, working as a freelancer for great agencies. He mounted and gave lessons in the first SENAC's illustration course with air brush - SP in 1987. He also gave lessons of this technique in the Michelangelo's Art Store up to 1994. In 1992 he was initiated in the digital illustration and pixel art. In 1995 he entered the www virtual world, where he develops until today technologies applied to design, corporate websites, intranets, projects of e-learning, cartoons and animated vignettes for TV.
In the vacant hours he makes cooking incursions for diverse styles.
